London Sightseeing
Well, I had a full day of London sightseeing yesterday. I hopped on one of those double-decker buses that take you all around London. My first stop was Houses of Parliament, which was complete luck that I arrived just before the changing of the guard. I walked around a bit and as I was passing Big Ben, the clock struck 12:00! I went over all of the London bridges, stopped in Trafalgar Sq and St. Paul's Cathedral. I went to the Monument and the Tower of London (by far my favorite spot!). Today I'm going to take a River Thames cruise, then head to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. The only part about this place that I don't like so far is the food! I'll get used to it though, plus, Paris is only a couple of nights away!! I have good news on Paris, the friend I was to meet there found me a flat. His friend was leaving town for the dates I would be there and generously offered it to me for only 150 euros (and a good bottle of whiskey) for all 10 nights!! It's just down the street from the Louvre too, so I can hardy wait to get there. Anyway, I am off to start my day. I'l post again soon!!

Hi Donna,
I am so thrilled to be reading your trip blog! I hope you are having a blast! I did the same double decker bus tour of London last summer. Wow, the flat in Paris sounds awesome. You are going to have the time of your life!
Have fun!
