Updates!

Hello everyone! It's been a couple of days so I'll fill you in on what's been going on! On Thursday I took a more liesurely day sightseeing in London. I walked through Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace, just walked around for the most part. I went to the same pub for a drink on my way back (Prince of Wales) and then retired for the night.

On Friday I went to Stonehenge which was absolutely amazing! I had wanted to see Stonehenge for a very long time and it was great to finally see it. After Stonehenge I headed to Bath, but with only half a day, I know I'll need to schedule more time out there (perhaps at the end of my trip for Christmas-time... I went to the Roman baths which were beautiful. I met a girl from Florida who I ended up spending the day with. She's doing about the same thing I am, left her job and went on travel for a while. Unfortnately I caught her at the end of her trip while I'm just beginning mine... After I relaxed for a while at the hotel, I decided to hit the pub again and ended up meeting a bunch of people from Finland and Sweden. Upon first meeting, they asked where I was from and when I said the US, they said "I'm sorry, well, I guess that's not your fault!" That made me laugh. We had a great time, ended up chatting the entire night about politics, the war and the differences in our countries. All in all a great night!

Today I actually slept in! When I woke up I walked down to Portabello Market in Notting Hill. It's a huge market with people selling everything from antiques to jewelry, cothes, fresh fruit and fish. I spent the entire day there, walking around, eating and shopping.

I think I'll head to Camden market tomorrow, just for a little while though, as my train to Paris leaves at 3:00! I've been taking tons of pictures but unfortunately I'm unable to post them from here. Hopefully I'll find a good internet cafe in Paris... Talk to you soon!!
