Paris!
I've arrived in Paris! It was an interesting trip, I sat across from a commodities broker from the UK and we had some great conversation during the 3 hour train ride. Up until I arrived in Paris, it didn't really seem real to me yet. It's very real now, it was a complete culture shock arriving here. I had some trouble finding my friend in Paris so it was quite interesting trying to find him. Luckily I met a nice man who owns a cafe in the area who allowed me to use his cellular phone. I went back to the same cafe for breakfast this morning and he told me if I needed internet, I could use his laptop in the back of the cafe and if I wanted to see Paris, he would take me around to some of the sites. I met up with my friend (Jess) and he showed me to my flat. I am literally 2 blocks from the Notre Dame and just down the street from the Louvre! Today I plan on just relaxing and getting to know the area that I am in. I'm going to go to the market and pick up some basics for breakfast in the am and probably walk down the Siene. I enjoyed just sitting in the cafe watching people go by. I'll update soon and I hope to post some pictures in the next day or so! Talk to you all soon!!
