Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Deportation Monument and the Markets
I started off my morning by going to the Deportation Monument. Up until today I could only see the outside as it has odd hours. The one part that really struck me was the wall of stones, each stone represents one of the 200,000 individuals deported from France to German concentration camps during World War II. I'm attaching a picture.
Then I walked up the tiring stairs to the Arc de Triomphe!! The view from the top is amazing!!
From there I went to Rue Cler which has a bunch of quaint shops and markets...
Then from there I went to the Notre Dame! Attaching pics of all, I'm having a great time in Paris!!
