Goodbye Paris...

This is actually the first early morning I've had in Paris, I was up before sunrise and decided to grab my cafe kreme and post one last message before getting my bags together and heading to the train station. I have mixed emotions about leaving Paris. A part of me wants to stay here while the other part of me is excited for the next stop (Toulouse). Paris is so beautiful, the architecture, the food, the people, the culture. Parisians are not rushing through life, they truly savor each and every day. I've met many friends here, and I will be sad to say my goodbyes... But, the trip must go on, and I can hardly believe that I am only at the beginning of this adventure. I still have almost 2 months left in Europe! I am posting some pictures of my last couple of days in Paris, including sunrise this morning. I will talk to you all soon!

Donna,
If you have the time, go from Toulouse down to Provence region. Aix en Provence is worth a see as is Arles and Avignon. In fact, just a short distance away is Cassis, a beautiful spot on the Med sea. Best of all, this is all on the way to Nice! Aix is my favorite spot for sure. Beautiful photo ops. The flower markets may be closed now, however. But the golden sunsets cast a fire on the stone buildings that is glorious!
