When in Rome...

I arrived in Rome this afternoon. I was a little nervous arriving, big city and not really sure where I was going but I had no issues finding my bed and breakfast. It's the nicest place so far that I've stayed, they are so nice, brought me breakfast, capuccino, and nutella (yum!!) to my room, along with a fruit assortment. I am only 3-4 blocks from St. Peter's Basilica, and right down the street from the metro, perfect location. I will be hopefully meeting up with Mikel (I met him on the train between Toulouse and Nice) and he'll show me some parts of Rome. My last 2 nights in Cinque Terre were very nice, very relaxing. They had an outdoor concert in the square both nights and it was nice to hear the traditional italian music. The concert was literally right outside of my door, so whether I liked it or not, I was listening to it! I also hiked up one of the trails for sunset, I'll post pictures soon. I'll be in Rome the next 4 nights and then it is off to Siena!

Thanks Rachel, I miss all of you guys too!! I did go to the mass, it was amazing even though I couldn't understand a word! Yes, all the pictures are taken by me! I have a ton of pictures but I can't do this place justice. It is so beautiful here, I wasn't expecting to love Rome this much!
