Roma è Roma
Today I woke up at 9 am with a wonderful hangover from the night before, I'm blaming it on the grappa!! I took a couple of advil and went straight to St. Peter's to view the inside. It was beautiful, the most stunning was Michelangelo's Pietra. I went to mass, which was beautiful. I didn't understand any of the italian but it was nice to be there. I walked up the Dome of Michelangelo for a stunning view of Rome.
I made plans to meet Mikel around 3:30 and we walked all over Rome, he knows so much about this city. We met at the Colosseum, walked to the Fontana di Trevi, the Trinitia Dei Monti, the Piazza del Popolo, St. Lorenzo in Lucina, the spanish steps and finished at the Pantheon. We went to a nice spot where you could see all of Rome and we were there just after the sunset. 
Mikel told me that Romans will say "Roma è Roma", Rome is Rome. There are no words to describe it, it's just Rome. Beautiful.
